The pictures, presented in random order. Some really cool optical illusions in there. Some of my favorites.
Trick Art Museum
Lots of cool optical illusions here
Some were really great.
Went to a tea making class, I was expecting a rip off but for $12 bucks they taught us a lot about tea. We enjoyed two glasses of different teas and got to take home two more, and a free tea tumbler. Great deal.
At the tea class.
Cool room. The strange thing about this trip was the 2 male to 10 female ratio everywhere I went. I guess that is what happens when you travel during the weekdays.
They gave us snacks, this is Jeju traditional Ddeok called Ohmegi Ddeok
This tea was the best, hint of chocolate and vanilla but not sweet.
Doing my best to fit in.
Outside with the bag of loot
The tea fields. On the tour I was the only one with questions. Either people aren’t curious enough or they already know everything. The fans in the picture are used to circulate warm air from above down to the plants.
Hyun Mi doing the tea field dance.
Short hike up one of Jeju’s 300 Oerum. They are old lava vents that are everywhere on the island. We went to one of the less popular ones and there was a farm inside the crater up top. Really cool.
Pie and Tea shop. Great apple pie here.
They also served carrot juice with milk which was surprisingly delicious.
At the air port going home.
At the air port just arriving
The first Cafe we went to. Jeju is a cafe place, they are everywhere.
Pancakes with cream cheese after. Also a double shot coffee. I had a really bad headache after this.
The view from our hotel. Where the lights stop the ocean begins.
Hyun Mi chowing on some galbi (ribs)
Lunch, Jeju black pig. You know it’s really black pig because the black hairs within the layer of skin lol. Gross maybe to some, but very good.
They smoke it on orange peels, really great smokey taste to the meat.
Lunch was sashimi of Yellowtail species of tuna. Very good..
